Admission Policy

The educational philosophy of Shigakkan University Junior College is “Cultivating the Human Ability” with acquiring ability to develop and apply the comprehensive 5 elements; Well-Being, Intellectual Perception, Social Interaction, Self-Realization and Responsible Accountability. That is, cultivate the capability dedicating to human well-being and self-awareness based on the broad perspective and scientific knowledge with ethical values; truth and justice.
Our concrete educational aim is to nurture more students to become both physically and mentally healthy with independent ideas, full of a zest for life, with energy to take action, a sense of fellowship, and a never-give-up, challenging spirit. 
We expect those prospective students to understand our educational philosophy and objectives, have a positive attitude of learning independently and to take on any challenges. 

Curriculum Policy

Diploma Policy

An associate degree is awarded to those students who satisfied the requirements for graduation (including the prescribed number of credits) from the Department of Physical Education set forth in the school code for the Junior College (Article 3, Academic Degree Regulations). A certificate of completion for the Advanced Course is awarded to those students who satisfied the requirements for completion, including the prescribed number of
credits set forth in the above mentioned school code (Article 44 of the school code). When determining whether a student is eligible to graduate or receive a certificate of completion, in addition to the requirements for graduation or completion (including the number of credits prescribed by the department or advanced course), the below requirements of each faculty must be satisfied as well.

Students those who are able to comprehensively apply and develop the "Capacity Building for Global Citizenship",; consists of 5 elements; "Wellness", "Intellectual Insight", "Social Ability", "Self Devolopment", and "Effective Citizenship".

Student is both physically and mentally healthy, and is full of a zest for life, with energy to take action, a sense of fellowship, and a never-give-up, challenging spirit.

Student has received a well-rounded education, and has acquired communication and discussion skills.
