With an educational goal of developing the ability to contribute to the promotion of the public’s health, the Department of Health and Education for Child offers a unique education program that fosters with our instructors/supporters of healthy physical/mental development in children, and allows the students to gain advanced and specialized knowledge on child growth and development.

Courses Offered

  • Childcare/Elementary Education Course
  • Elementary School/Junior High School Education Course
  • Students will learn about the sound growth and development of children between infancy and later childhood. They will also aim to obtain the qualifications and licenses needed to become nursery school, kindergarten, or elementary school teachers.
  • Students will learn about the sound growth and development of children from later childhood to adolescence. They will also aim to obtain the teaching licenses needed for elementary school and junior high school.

Qualifications & Licenses

  • Nursery school teaching qualification
  • Class 1 kindergarten teaching license

  • Class 1 junior high school teaching license (health and physical education)
  • Camping instructor
