Faculty of Wellness Department of Sports and Physical Education

The department aims to equip students with the expertise and skills they will need to conduct physical education and sports activities for aspiring athletes scientifically and effectively. The university also has a support system for student athletes, so both competitors and instructors alike can seek to improve their competitiveness and learn practical abilities. In addition to taking courses to become qualified trainers, students can also obtain an instructor's license for the various sports, and can also obtain junior and senior high school teaching licenses (for health and physical education).

Qualifications & Licenses

  • Class 1 junior high school teaching license (health and physical education)
  • Class 1 high school teaching license (health and physical education)
  • Eligibility of Athletic Trainer※1
  • Sports Trainer (qualified by JPSU)
  • Eligibility for JATI-ATI (qualified by JATI)
  • Sports instructor (exemption of training course examination on common subjects)
